The CUNA Lending Conference is the single best source of information for a credit union lender.
This is the best conference that I attend each year. Even though budgets are cut, it is so important to stay in 'the know'. And the networking is wonderful.

I have been attending financial services industry conferences for over 30 years and I have never attended a conference which so needs my professional needs as this conference. Further it affords me great opportunities to network with peers and build relationships which pay my credit union back for the lost time and expense connected with attending the conference - many times over. One of the best investments I have ever made.
The CUNA Lending Council Conference is a great place to network with peers from CUs across the nation. We have so much in common but maybe do things a bit different to get the same results. The sharing of ideas is invaluable.

This conference is a critical tool for insights and knowledge in lending. There are so many areas that cross information of eduation and knowledge. Mortgage, collections, consumer and yes, compliance. The presentations are top rate, there are session presentations, learning experiences and ideas to take back to the credit union. Meeting with peers and networking with others also offers a great opportunity to experience the growth of other credit unions and to see how you can grow or share your growth. The sponsors who attend are also a vital part of the lifelines we all need to update our information. I would encourage this conference to each and every credit union.

The conference continues to provide a high level of timely information. I cannot imagine that one can attend and not go home with more than enough ideas and information to offset the cost of attending.There is no better resource for networking, and that is worth the price of admission by itself.The conference is a great value.

The CLC Annual Conference is always educational and the networking is great because you get to talk with credit unions from all over the country. No matter how long you have been in lending, you always come away with something new or a new contact.
The Lending Conference is a great conference to attend. You get together with your peers and learn new ideas to generate new loan products - what works and what doesn't. You also need many valu vendors to help the lending process.
Over my 39 years in the industry, this is the best conference for learning and networking that I have ever attended.
The CUNA Lending Council Conference provides an unmatched opportunity to gain lending specific industry knowledge, network, and build relationships with partners and credit union collegues from across the country. I have been to many conferences in the past and this was, by far, the best investment of my time and the credit union's money. I came away with some great new ideas - and some life breathed into some old ones that had been sitting on my desk for awhile. Best of all, I have some good contacts for more information on the things I might decide to implement. Everyone who attends this conference is there for the same reason and is willing and able to help each other. How refreshing is that?

The Orlando Conference in November 2008 was my first CLC conference. I was very impressed with the vast amount of contacts and resources that I obtained while attending. All the speakers and instructors were extreamly informative and helpful. They all encouraged "after the conference" contact via e mail or phone if I needed more information. The conference personifies the message " people helping people".
I thoroughly enjoyed the conference. The speakers and topics lined up were motivating and up to date. I am taking away a lot of ideas that we can surely use at our credit union. It was a pleasure meeting everyone!

This was my first CUNA Lending Conference and I can't wait to attend another one! Volunteering at Give Kids The World was one of the best experiences I have ever had. The networking opportunites are great. You get to talk with others from around the country and see how their Credit Union provides products and services. The topics of the classes were very timely to what Credit Unions are dealing with. It was a very fun time, I made some great new friends.
Great conference a must for all lenders.
If you can only attend one conference per year, this should be it! We are in the business of granting credit...and there is no better place to hone your skills!

The CUNA Lending Council is the perfect forum for credit union lending leaders to discuss current challenges and opportunities in lending. Their are varying levels/areas of expertise in the membership, and something for everyone from small credit unions to large credit unions.
