The CUNA Lending Council - Wants You to be Part of the Action!
But how?
We know how important vendor partners are to our success as credit union lenders. We know, too, how important it is for you to be able to reach lenders across the country with news of your products and services. And we’ve been told that vendors want to show support to the CUNA Lending Council in a way that’s meaningful to the relationships they want to build.
We think we have an opportunity for you to show that support and gain the high profile image with the country’s premier credit union lenders that you’re looking for.
We’d like to introduce you to the CUNA Lending Council’s Partners in Lending, an exclusive opportunity for you to become involved with the 2007 Lending Council Credit Union Lending Conference in a way that’s meaningful to the services you offer.
Through the Partners program, you’ll be able to sponsor the popular social and dynamic educational events that give the Lending Conference its unique feel and flavor. There’s no need to staff an exhibitor booth and hope that the right participants stop by. The Partners program allows you to mix and mingle with all participants while showing financial support in a public way that will attract attention, earn the respect of lenders and the thanks of the CUNA Lending Council through signage, the conference handbook, web page links and other public recognition.
For the sake of simplicity, we call it the public television approach. Participation in the CUNA Lending Council’s Partners in Lending Program will mean a high profile with just the right credibility to attract the attention of this most influential group of lending officers.
How does it work?
At the CUNA Lending Council Lending Conference, sponsorship opportunities abound both for social and educational events. Full sponsorships come with signage, contact information and company description in the conference attendee handbook, public recognition from the lectern during a conference general session, opportunities for discrete literature distribution and a complimentary link to your web site from the Lending Council web page. In addition, one complimentary registration is part of the sponsorship package. Additional participants from the same firm (not affiliates) also may attend based on the sponsorship level you commit to.
Sponsor Display Area (Technology Forum) - After first sponsoring an event at the Gold Level ($6,000) or higher, you have the option of purchasing one of 15 spaces available in the Technology Forum, to use throughout the conference. You must have live technology in your display, such as a demonstration on a PC. Please check the appropriate box on the signup form. Limited space is available.
What can’t I do?
Any activity not sanctioned by CUNA Lending Council Conference Committee and Staff may not be advertised as part of the Partners in Lending program. The Council reserves the right to prohibit distribution of non-sanctioned materials within the designated conference areas of the hotel and requests that outside activities, such as hospitality suites, not be held. No activities may be scheduled at any time that will draw participants away from sessions or other conference activities. The purpose of the Partners program is to involve interested vendors in helping financially strengthen the Lending Council and its conference so it is better able to serve more members. Activities scheduled outside the Partnership program negatively affect program progress and confuses conference participants.
Some things to remember:
- Use of the email addresses of the registrants is prohibited without the prior approval of the Conference Committee
- Any “give-aways” must be in good taste
- If a partner conducts a drawing for a prize, such drawing must be held in accordance with acceptable practices for the type of drawing. Winners will be drawn at the luncheon on Tuesday and announced at that time.
- We will provide areas for materials to be distributed during the conference for all sponsors other than during the sponsored events.
