Lending Council Membership Exceeds 800 Members

2007 has been an excellent year for CUNA Lending Council membership. “We started the year with 704 members and have added 105 new members since then. That's a 15% increase,” said Dana Rawlings, SVP, Smart Financial CU in Houston, Texas and Chair of the CLC Membership Committee. "It's a great accomplishment for any organization. We are on a roll with membership and I expect that we will reach 900 members in 2008.”

Now is the perfect time for Lending Council members to encourage their colleagues to join the Council. If they join now they will be a member not only for all of 2008, but also for the remainder of 2007, for the cost of 2008 dues. That is up to 15 months for the price of 12. In addition, they will get the $250 member discount at the 2008 Annual Conference at the J.W. Marriott, Orlando Grande Lakes, November 2 – 5, 2008.

Rawlings suggests that “Lending Council members should take this opportunity to enroll one or more of their colleagues in the Council and get the $250 discount for the 2007 Conference in San Antonio and the 2008 conference in Orlando.”
