CAMPAIGN STATEMENTS

Bill Vogeney (incumbent), VP/CLO, Ent Federal CU, Colorado Springs, CO
Assets: $3B | # Members: 198,000

As a current member of your executive committee, I hope I can continue to serve the Lending Council for another term. I've been involved with our conference committee, developing the programs you need to improve your lending operation. I also participate in the member resource committee, and have helped develop numerous webinars and virtual roundtables over the last two years. I became involved in the Lending Council 11 years ago because I believed in continuous education and information sharing with my peers in the movement. It's a commitment that I believe is not an option, but a necessity for the credit union movement to thrive.

Jason Osterhage (incumbent), SVP/CLO, Delta Employees CU, Atlanta, GA
Assets: $3.6B | # Members: 177,500

I would be honored to continue serving on the CUNA Lending Council's Executive Committee. As Chief Lending Officer at Delta Community Credit Union ($3.7 billion) I'm also responsible for corporate strategy and human resources. I believe I can offer unique, holistic perspectives on the many challenging issues facing credit union lending professionals today. Should I be elected, I will work diligently to support the Executive Committee's ongoing efforts to ensure the CUNA Lending Council is a valuable resource for credit union leadership and ultimately the members they serve.

Jennifer Cowles, VP Real Estate Lending, American Eagle CU, East Hartford, CT
Assets: $1.3B | # Members: 96,500

Thank you very much for consideration of my nomination to the Executive Committee for the CUNA Lending Council.

It is the mission of credit unions to serve their membership and it is the mission of the CUNA Lending Council to serve its membership by being a primary source of best lending practices and educational opportunities for our industry. We do that by participating on committees, sharing ideas and staying engaged in our areas of expertise.

That is where the CUNA Lending Council comes in. The Council is a strong resource for staff to gain education, get questions answered and share information with peers. I have more than 20 years experience in many aspects of lending, servicing, secondary markets and collections and I would be honored to join the Executive Committee and continue the tradition of excellence.

Kira Orth, CLO, Mayo Employees CU, Rochester, MN

She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Winona State University. Kira has worked in the financial services industry over 28 years, and has nineteen years experience in middle and senior leadership roles. "Working in a credit union has taught me to appreciate what credit unions are all about, people helping people. As an Executive Committee member, I hope to draw on my past work experience and share what I've learned with other Lending Council members.”

Dale Frankhouse, Director of Business Services and Mortgage Lending, Sun Federal CU, Maumee, OH
Assets: $373M | # Members: 36,000

I first embraced the cooperative spirit of the credit union movement 20 years ago and began daily living out our mission of listening to members' stories and helping them realize their dreams.

My passions include business development, process improvement, fostering relationships, and training lenders. As a 13 year member, the CLC has provided contacts and resources that have helped me develop products, write policies and implement programs.

As a member of the Executive Committee, I will work hard to serve you well; using my skills and experience to grow council membership, member involvement and be an advocate for training and networking opportunities.
