Don’t miss the opportunity to showcase your credit union and its lending programs.

The deadline for applying for the four Excellence in Lending Awards is July 29, 2005.

The award recognizes credit unions for their ability to serve their members while sustaining sound financial performance. Credit unions demonstrating an ability to “reach” their members’ needs by innovative means are excellent candidates for this award.

Award winners will be chosen for their innovation in consumer lending and mortgage lending. We will award one winner for each of the following categories.

• Consumer (Under $250,000,000 in Assets)
• Consumer ($250,000,000+ in Assets)
• Mortgage (Under $250,000,000 in Assets)
• Mortgage ($250,000,000+ in Assets)

The awards, sponsored by CUNA Mutual Group and the CUNA Lending Council, will be presented at the CUNA Lending Council Annual meeting, November 6-9, 2005, in Miami Beach, Florida. Recipients of the award will receive free registration and travel expenses for one individual to attend the conference. In addition, best practices of award winners will be publicized throughout the year.
